Structural systems model

Based off of the Shizoka International Garden and Horticulture Center designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates, this 1:500 scale model uses a range of materials to differentiate structural systems. The bamboo panels in the original building are represented by basswood screens integrated in the model and were constructed with a laser-cut jig.
